Flit

Portland Limestone – 16″ x 6″ x 10″

I called this bird sculpture Flit as so many birds I see are flitting around in the hedgerow or branches of nearby trees.  They dart about, moving swiftly and lightly, and I tried to capture this with the wings held slightly up and out, and in a pose indicating it has just landed, or is just about to fly away.
