Preparations for Garden Festival
Lovely pieces are being finished at the workshop just now, ready for the Borde Hill Garden Festival.
As part of the range of garden features I’m exhibiting, are these handsome planters – hand carved as a matching pair in fine Yorkstone, drilled for drainage and ready for magical planting ideas.
At the Festival you’ll find plenty inspiration for planting – in her talk Jo Thompson – Garden Designer will be giving insights into creating a Romantic Garden and she’s full of clever planting combinations for pots, having shared her ideas in Gardens Illustrated called Spring containers – Pollinator’s Paradise.
Woottens Plant Nursery are also exhibiting, and hold the National Collection of Scented Leaf and Species Pelargoniums. I think their Creamy Nutmeg would look very well in my pot (but they also have Auriculas which would work especially well).
Full details about the Festival are available at the Borde Hill Garden website – Borde Hill Garden Festival
