Preview Night – Fired, Drawn & Painted
I’m looking forward to this one. Do you go to Previews? I keep hearing so many mixed thoughts on previews in general. Personally I like them – both as an artist, and as a visitor. Having made new work, organised and hung an exhibition, there’s a feeling of excitement and anticipation – a pride and zeal to show everyone your latest creativity – so previews feel fresh and have a sense of new discovery and celebration.
Tonight I’m visiting the Preview of the Fired, Drawn & Painted exhibition at Pickering Memorial Hall, Pickering (7 pm) – the exhibition is a short one – running 29th August to 1st September, 2014 only, open 10 am – 6 pm each day.
I was invited by Kezy Feaster who’s enthusiasm and her talent make this an irresistable show. Kezy is joined by Brian and Sally Tozer, who make up the Fired and Drawn bit, though all three paint, draw and sculpt – clever things! Looks like I’m in for a treat!
