Blackbird

Blackbird Sculpture – Yorkstone – 7″ x 3″ x 4″

A pair of Blackbirds nest in the hedgerow alongside my workshop.  They forage in the field beyond and I often see them run and stop and listen, before pouncing on a worm.  A favourite perch is an old stone gatepost, from which they proudly announce in rich, warbling song.
