Unhurried Hare
So often when sitting still and quiet I’ve had the most rewarding wildlife encounters. I hardly dare breathe when this Hare come close and chose to groom and then lie, neatly easeful, just blinking and nose twitching.
I believe in being quiet in nature.
In a way there’s a strange contradiction in that in doing so, and encountering the details of the immediate environment, I’m charged with powerful energy and life-fullness. Almost a sense of being wild myself. Calm wild if you like and the contentment of belonging.
The Hare that gifted me the watching, is the subject for Unhurried Hare a Hare study in stone.
